Meet the Artist

Hey ya’ll! Thanks for visiting my little corner of the internet 💕. My name is Ashlea Kiiing and I am the CEO and Designer at Kiiing Creations. I am a devoted wife and mother to a sassy little girl 🧸. I have been creating art since the age of three. I am a mixed media and digital artist based in Burleson, TX. I love exploring different art media and creating unique artworks that possess both physical and digital elements. 

In 2013, I graduated from the University of North Texas with a BFA in Art Education and I taught middle school art for four years. Currently, I am the Art Curator for a school district in Texas and I have enjoyed curating K-12th art exhibits for the past six years. 

In 2020, I started my business, Kiiing Creations. Kiiing Creations is an inspirational art brand that celebrates Black culture through visual storytelling that inspires, motivates and empowers others while providing a space for people of color to feel seen, heard and appreciated.

In 2022, The Artfull Studio was created out of my love for art, education and mindful learning! This virtual art studio provides fun educational art lessons and resources that teach a comprehensive range of art skills and techniques. Students will explore self-expression, as well as learn creative problem solving through our educational tutorials and eBooks. The studio offers students the experience to explore the fundamentals of art, connect art and core curriculum subjects, as well as, enhancing their cognitive function and art skills. This is a great opportunity for students to review and expand their art knowledge, as well as learn how to effectively apply the elements and principles of art to their expressive creations. Our goal is to create fun, whimsical art lessons and resources for our students that can inspire a giggle or two!
